Cooper Standard Research and Development Facility

Livonia, MI

Cooper Standard is a global leader in supplying sealing and fluid handling systems and components. Corrigan was hired to complete a full transformation of the company’s existing 148,000 square foot building into a new Research and Development Center. The project created multiple testing laboratories, machine shops, environmentally controlled rooms, an explosion-proof room, equipment elevators, and multiple overhead cranes. The building features 115,000 square feet of shop floor and 33,000 square feet of office space.

Throughout the course of the project, Corrigan coordinated the logistics of 27 large flatbread trailer deliveries and 50 closed semi-trailer deliveries. By utilizing Corrigan’s transportation division, our team was able to help reduce equipment and installation costs.
